from the same period by Mattel.   Details on what's included are outlined below.
HOUSE
- To the best of my knowledge the house is complete, with the exception of 1 window (1.75" W x 5.5" H) and a portion of the flowers (although the beds are still quite full).  A photocopy of the official 1978 A Frame Dream House Instructions will be included for reassembly.
FURNITURE
- Yellow refrigerator, blue table & 3 complete blue chairs (4th chair is missing seat), pink bed with foam mattress and foam pillow, pink/green upholstered stripe couch & chair, green side & coffee tables.
ACCESSORIES
- Food/beverages (60 pieces), blue cookware (17 pieces), pink/white dishes (37 pieces), pink bed sheet, blue bed sheet, blue pillow case, blue rug.

CONDITION:
Pre-owned and gently used.
Clean!!
HOUSE - used dish soap, tooth brush & blasted completely dry to remove any trace of water.  BED SHEETS - hand washed and air dried.  SOFA/CHAIR fabric - Removed, all sticky orange residue underneath completely cleaned off with Goo-Gone, fabric hand washed/air dried, and reapplied/secured using craft adhesive dots inside each piece before snapping top and bottom back together.
Missing pieces
- Extent to the best of my knowledge.. 1 window (1.75" W x 5.5" H), a portion of the flowers, 1 blue chair seat, shelves/drawers in fridge, & a portion of decals on food/drink accessories may be missing completely, partially, or peeling.
Broken pieces
- 1 front door & 1 balcony door are each missing one nub at the end to hold them securely in place.  Two bottom posts on the house are cracked in places (see photo).  Right door on the fridge does not stay on (picture shows left door off as well, but this is NOT broken and does securely attach to the piece -- this was an oversight on my part and it wasn't until days later that I noticed).

Great Question!
Contents will ship in more than one box.  Because I have never shipped one of these and the house is still assembled (should buyers request additional pictures) I cannot confirm box count at this time.  I will work with a helper to carefully dismantle the
house, organize pieces for packaging so it's easier to reassemble
, use more bubble wrap than I do in a month, take extra time planning logistics around what will be boxed together, box and then likely re-organize box contents at least 1x because I don't feel like things are up to my packaging standards (this is where helper exists stage left because he gets super annoyed)... final step is the shake test.  If I can shake the box and nothing rattles or moves around, there's a little room for wiggle inside, and the end that was open to load contents is firm, but not rock solid after sealing the package is ready to go!   Then a trip to the PO and package drop-off at the front counter is in order.  This will take quite a bit of time so I have to factor in treat/bone costs for my 2 pups as well because they may miss out on attention and outdoor activities so something to occupy their time while I package things up is a must :)  All joking aside, I hope that summary explains why shipping costs are so high.  Bottom line.. r
